New App for Vets: Canine Ophthalmology

Our brand new iPhone and iPad App, Canine Ophthalmology has just been released. Suitable for all vets and vet students with an iPhone or iPad (including the mini) – this App gives details on all common eye conditions in Dogs. The App was authored by Natasha Mitchell MVB DVOphthal MRCVS and in addition to detailed text, contains over 380 stunning photos of eye problems in dogs. It can be purchased in the App Store.

Equine Techniques App Updated

Our popular App that shows veterinarians how to perform various medical techniques in horses has been updated to version 1.4. The App is available at:

BEVA provide our Apps to their members

We are delighted to announce that the British Equine Veterinary Association have decided to provide all our current equine Apps free to their members. The BEVA branded versions of Equine Drugs, Equine Techniques, Equine Joint Injections and Equine Lab are now available in the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. The BEVA branded version of Equine Drugs for Android is now available in the Google Play Store. These versions require entry of your BEVA membership number to work. New Free Downloads

Check out the Free Downloads page on this site for three new free articles for veterinarians. These downloads are taken from our very popular vet iPhone and iPad Apps and cover corneal sequestration in cats, approach to the carpal sheath in horses and placing a lateral thoracic catheter in horses.

Update now available

Equine Drugs 3.0 is now available from the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The update is, of course, free for existing users. We hope that horse vets everywhere find the update and the App useful. Please keep the comments and suggestions coming in and we will try and incorporate them in future updates. The Android version of Equine Drugs will be updated very soon.
